FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello All,

Just got back from the National Drive in KY, another great week of driving and fellowship. What fun. It sure is nice to see the same faces and catch up on what everyone is doing. For those that have not been, it is a great experience, well worth the effort and expense of getting to and from, and housing for you and your horse/pony. With luck next year, we will have even more members make the trip, and join the fun.

This coming weekend is our club Big Weekend!!! BBQ at the Hall's and driving with lunch, both days at Foxbrier Farm. Please get your checks to Ned asap. $15 for BBQ and cocktails, $10 for both lunches. What a deal, eat and drive. A few of us will be camping at the Burns farm. So bring a dish to share for Saturday night, and join in the fun. A few members, myself included will be making the trip to Southern Pines for the CDE, at the end of the month. We will do our best to make our club proud. Katydid CDE is also coming up in Nov. Paul Nordan will be driving in the Tandem Challenge with the Cheatham ponies. Good luck to everyone.

Do hope you all are getting lots of driving time in. Weather has been perfect!!

Laurel
